Northeast Heights Homes & Realty

The Northeast Heights stretches from the University of New Mexico to east of the foothills of the Sandia Mountains and from Central Avenue to north of Paseo del Norte. The Northeast Heights encompasses many different styles of homes and communities. The majority of homes in this location started being built in the 1950’s and were more of a classic design found in this era. Today, people can find different designs, fore example, new construction (like Kaybee Homes), renovations and pueblo style architecture.

The Northeast Heights is one area that I think has matured beautifully. The UNM neighborhood is bustling with University Activity, and people like to visit the local bars, restaurants and Pope Joy Hall. There is a nice blend of pueblo style homes in this area and the newest additions to the residential options are the Lofts. This urban style living provides all the conveniences of downtown.

The further eastern part of the Northeast Heights is near many different trails and parks. These homes have great views of the mountains and easy access to Tramway and I-40. Gated communities, condo’s and townhomes are very prevalent in this area.

Some of the most common activities people like to enjoy in part of town is the New Mexico State Fair, concerts at Tingley Coliseum or Pope Joy Hall. People like to shop at the new outdoor mall called Uptown. This mall has interested many new companies to New Mexico such as BEBE, The Apple Store, California Pizza Kitchen and Jareds. In addition to that, there is new townhomes that are being built around the area, promoting the urban style of living.

The Northeast Heights area is full of many diverse property styles and different ways of living. People can enjoy the outdoors and many activities the indoors has to offer. This area is definitely unique!
