North Valley Homes & Realty

The North Valley is one of the largest areas in Albuquerque and includes the Village of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque. The boundaries range between I-40 to the South, the Rio Grande to the west, the Sandoval County Line to the North and Interstate 25 to the East. This specific area reminds me the most of Santa Fe and has characteristics of other parts of Northern New Mexico. This area is the one of the most lush and green areas in Albuquerque. There is a great deal of vegetation and a lovely rural feel to this particular area.

The North Valley is one of the most prominent areas that people can get acreage and horse zoned property. Some of the properties may contain irrigation rights, due to this area being so close to the Rio Grande River. It is known for tranquility, great views and large homes. This area offers a great deal of outdoor activities for the family.

The Paseo del Bosque Trail is a very popular trail many people enjoy bike riding, running, walking and even riding their horses! I love to run or bike in this area, it is not uncommon to see ducks or swans in the spring basking in the sunlight in the Rio Grande. There are also different races that occur in this area.

Albuquerque Real Estate option come in very different varieties in the North Valley. It is easy to find some of the most exclusive properties in this area, but the North Valley is not limited to these luxury properties. Other subdivisions in this area include Matthew Meadows and Vista del Norte (has a strong community feel); while other neighborhoods like Tinnin Farms, Riverfronte Estates, Dietz Farm, Caballero and Black Farm Estates offer large spacious properties.

One of my favorite features about the North Valley is you will find very diverse floor plans and styles of homes, including new homes, more seasoned homes and homes in construction. This area has great locally owned businesses and gives a nice rural feel to the Albuquerque community.
